Birmingham's Stirchley neighbourhood has welcomed a fresh addition to its high street as Greggs opens a brand-new bakery branch. The store, located at 1360 Pershore Road, commenced operations this morning, February 25, marking a significant boost for the local economy with the creation of 15 new positions.

The new Greggs outlet in Stirchley is now open seven days a week, providing residents with extended access to their beloved baked goods. Operating hours run from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday through Saturday, while Sunday hours are slightly adjusted, with the shop open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The store also features a selection of iced beverages, notably the new Iced Matcha range, which includes varieties like Iced Matcha Latte, Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte, and Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte.

This opening follows recent adjustments in Greggs' portfolio, including the closure of two branches in Wolverhampton's city centre. However, the company has since inaugurated a new location at 56 Dudley Street in Wolverhampton on February 13, which added one job to the existing team.
