Joe & The Juice Opens Bigger Bullring Store This Summer

Joe & The Juice Announces Major Expansion at Birmingham Bullring

The popular Danish chain Joe & The Juice, renowned for its celebrity following, is set to open a significantly larger branch in the heart of Birmingham's Bullring this summer. This move marks a notable expansion for the brand in the city, building on its existing presence in Grand Central and Touchwood Solihull.

New Location and Opening Details

The new store will occupy the upper floor of the Bullring, taking over the space previously held by Soho Coffee, which is believed to have closed last month. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, preparations are already underway, with pink hoarding installed at the site featuring playful messages like 'meet Joe at the Bull' and 'Bullring, you earned this'.

In a Facebook post, the Bullring confirmed the development, stating: "Spotted! Joe & The Juice is getting a bigger home at the Bullring this summer. Good vibes, great flavours and even better juices are on the way."

Brand Popularity and Offerings

Joe & The Juice, founded in Copenhagen in 2002 and now with approximately 400 locations worldwide, is a favorite among celebrities and influencers. Its menu includes a range of coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches, with items like the viral 'tunacado' sandwich gaining significant social media attention.

Other notable offerings include the JOEs Spicy Caesar sandwich, featuring chicken, tabasco, arugula, grana padano, caesar dressing, turkey bacon, and classic bread, as well as yoghurt bowls, acai bowls, and signature juices such as Hydration Station, Feel Good, and JOEs Green Mile.

Impact on Existing Branches

It remains unclear whether the existing Grand Central branch will continue to operate once the larger Bullring store opens. This expansion is part of a broader trend of new openings at the Bullring in 2026, which has already welcomed brands like SushiDog, Victoria's Secret, Subdued, and Moida.

Hammerson, the owner of the Bullring, has been approached for further comment on the development. This move highlights the ongoing evolution of Birmingham's retail landscape, catering to consumer demand for trendy and health-focused dining options.
