Tesco is offering customers an 8p discount per litre on fuel at more than 500 petrol stations across the UK, provided they spend at least £60 in-store. The promotion runs until Monday, August 31, with all discount coupons valid for redemption until Sunday, September 6.
Shoppers who spend £60 or more in a single transaction after discounts, promotions, and coupons are applied will receive a coupon at the till. The voucher provides 8p off each litre of fuel, with a maximum saving of £10 per transaction. For a typical driver purchasing between 35 and 45 litres, the discount equates to savings of approximately £2.80 to £3.60.
Offer details and redemption rules
The qualifying spend must be made in one transaction in-store between August 17 and August 31. Clubcard membership is not required to receive the coupon, which is printed at the bottom of the receipt. All coupons remain valid until September 6 and must be presented in paper form at the fuel kiosk, redeemed in the same transaction as the fuel purchase, with only one coupon allowed per transaction.
The offer excludes purchases made online and via Tesco Whoosh, as well as transactions at any café, tobacco kiosk, opticians, phone store, concessions, Travel Money, Tesco Bank, lottery products, e-top up, savings stamps, postage stamps, carrier bags, prescription medicines, and infant milk formulae. Coupons cannot be used at Pay at Pump, unmanned petrol stations, or at Tesco Express stores selling Esso fuel, nor in Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man.

The promotion applies at over 500 Tesco petrol stations, covering a significant portion of the supermarket's fuel estate. Tesco, which operates stores in Birmingham and competes with Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, and Sainsbury's, said in a statement: “Make your shop go even further with an 8p off per litre fuel coupon. Just spend £60 or more in-store and find your coupon at the bottom of your receipt. Clubcard not required. From everyday essentials to family favourites, you'll find savings in every aisle – and now at the pump too. So, come and fill up your trolley and your tank! Offer ends Monday 31 August.”
The maximum discount available per coupon is £10, and the minimum fuel purchase requirements apply. Drivers must ensure they present the paper coupon at the kiosk during the same transaction as their fuel purchase to benefit from the discount. The offer ends on August 31, with final redemption on September 6.
