Waitrose Slashes Easter Treat Prices for Loyalty Card Holders Nationwide
Waitrose Cuts Easter Treat Prices for Loyalty Card Shoppers

Waitrose has announced a major change for its loyalty card shoppers across the UK, providing substantial discounts on popular Easter treats. The supermarket chain's My Waitrose scheme now offers members a third off a selection of Cadbury Easter Eggs and Lindt Lindor truffles.

Significant Price Reductions on Easter Items

This promotional move results in notable price drops for customers. Large Cadbury Easter Eggs have been reduced from £5.50 to £3.67, while a 200g box of Lindt Lindor truffles now costs £5.00 instead of £7.50, representing significant savings for shoppers preparing for the Easter season.

Haslemere Store Reopens After Major Refurbishment

The discount announcement comes during the same week that Waitrose Haslemere has reopened its doors following an extensive multi-million pound refurbishment project. The West Street store underwent a seven-week transformation aimed at enhancing the customer shopping experience.

The 10,000 square foot shop, which will celebrate its 17th anniversary in May, now features numerous new concepts and improvements. Customers can expect an expanded range of high-quality produce and various enhancements designed to make shopping more convenient and enjoyable.

Enhanced Services for Local Customers

Following the reopening, Waitrose Haslemere now offers additional services to the community. Local customers can collect John Lewis and Waitrose Entertaining orders directly from the store and arrange home delivery through Deliveroo, providing greater flexibility for their shopping needs.

Branch Manager Katherine Batey, who leads a team of 79 Partners at the location, expressed enthusiasm about the store's return. "We have been part of the community in Haslemere for almost 17 years and on behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding while the store has been closed," she stated.

"We are delighted to welcome everyone back, and can't wait to introduce them to the new features with even more great food to enjoy," Batey added, highlighting the store's commitment to serving the local area.

Waitrose's Ongoing Store Transformation Program

This refurbishment aligns with Waitrose's broader store improvement initiatives. In 2025, the supermarket transformed 23 existing shops, including locations in Weybridge and Oxted within Surrey.

Furthermore, in November 2025, Waitrose launched its first 'Home of Food Lovers' concept store in Newbury, reinforcing its mission to become the primary choice for food enthusiasts. Many of these innovative features have now been incorporated into the newly refurbished Waitrose Haslemere location.

The company continues to expand its presence, having announced in February 2026 the acquisition of the freehold for Hersham Green Shopping Centre in Surrey, demonstrating its ongoing investment in the retail sector.
