Vodafone January Sale: Save £460 on iPhone 16e & Galaxy A17 Deals
iPhone & Samsung Deals: Up to £460 Off in Vodafone Sale

Mobile shoppers across the UK have a final chance to bag a spectacular bargain, as Vodafone's major January sale slashes hundreds of pounds off popular Apple and Samsung smartphones. The standout offer provides a staggering saving of more than £460 on the Apple iPhone 16e, but the promotion is set to conclude on January 21, 2026.

Apple iPhone 16e: A Powerhouse at a Discounted Price

Vodafone has dramatically reduced the cost of Apple's budget-friendly iPhone 16e. The device is now available for just £22.50 per month with a £30 upfront cost on Vodafone's 1GB Xtra plan. This represents a total discount of £468, with £13 shaved off the usual monthly fee across the 36-month contract term.

Launched in February 2025, the iPhone 16e was marketed as bringing powerful features to a more accessible price point. For those buying the phone outright, it currently costs £499 on Amazon, down from its original £599. The handset boasts a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, a 48MP rear camera, and a battery capable of up to 26 hours of video playback.

However, Vodafone faces competition from Sky Mobile, which offers the same iPhone 16e for £18 per month with a £12 upfront fee. The significant catch is that Sky's deal includes a mere 100MB of data, which may be insufficient for most users.

Samsung's Budget Galaxy A17 Also Sees Major Price Cuts

For Android enthusiasts, Vodafone's sale also features an impressive deal on the Samsung Galaxy A17. This contract comes in at an even lower £18 per month with a £20 upfront payment.

On Vodafone's 5GB Xtra plan, this equates to a saving of £360, thanks to a £10 monthly discount applied over the three-year term. Once again, Sky Mobile undercuts on price with a rival offer of just £5 per month for the Galaxy A17, but it also carries the same restrictive 100MB data allowance.

Released in September 2025 as an entry-level model, the Samsung Galaxy A17 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and an Exynos 1330 processor. Purchasing it SIM-free currently costs £125 on Amazon, reduced from £146.

What Do Customers Say About These Phones?

User reviews on Vodafone's site provide insight into both devices. The Samsung Galaxy A17 holds a 4.6-star rating, with praise for its battery, camera, and value. One customer stated, "The battery is great, the camera is super. The display and performance are great. Really impressed, the price was great too." Another noted its "slimness, style and easy setup." A minority of users reported needing to charge the battery daily.

The iPhone 16e scores a marginally higher 4.7-star rating. A satisfied buyer commented, "I love the colour and the camera button. Great phone, nice size and everything works as it should." Another user, who upgraded from an iPhone 11, awarded five stars, saying, "Love the fuller screen, the camera is incredible, the battery life is superb." However, one reviewer found the newer model "overly complicated" compared to older iPhones.

With the January sale window closing soon, consumers are advised to act quickly to secure these heavily discounted phone contracts, carefully weighing the data allowances against the monthly cost to find the best personal value.
