Cala Homes Sponsors Clan Night Golf in Aberdeen

Cala Homes is backing Clan Cancer Support's first Night Golf event, a fundraising challenge designed to raise money for people affected by cancer across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.

Unique Night Golf Challenge at Newmachar

The housebuilder has partnered with Clan for the event, which takes place at Newmachar Golf Club on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Teams will tee off after dark, experiencing golf in a new way. Players will tackle six illuminated holes on the club's Swailend course, designed by world-renowned golf architect Dave Thomas. Fairways, holes and golf balls will all be lit, transforming the course into a striking nighttime setting and creating a memorable challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Cala Homes' Long-Standing Support for Clan

As headline sponsor, Cala Homes continues its long-standing support of Clan Cancer Support and the vital work it delivers across north-east Scotland and the Northern Isles. Fraser Carr, managing director (North) and sales & marketing director (Group) of Cala Homes, said: “We’re delighted to support Clan Cancer Support’s Night Golf event at Newmachar Golf Club. Clan provides invaluable support to people and families affected by cancer across the north-east, and we’re proud to help raise awareness and funds for such an important local charity. It promises to be a fantastic and memorable evening, and we hope plenty of teams will get involved, enjoy the unique experience of playing golf after dark, and help make the event a great success.”
