A regional housebuilder has contributed £3,000 to a local charity dedicated to helping people cope with grief. The funding will enable the organisation to train new volunteers and extend its reach to more families throughout the area.
Charity's origins and growth
Shropshire Bereavement Group was established in 2023 by Shane Game following the loss of her two sons, Ben and Toby. What began as a small gathering in her living room has since grown into a community-led organisation providing support to grieving residents.
The donation will allow the team to expand its vital services for children, young people, and adults experiencing loss. Volunteers aim to ensure that no local resident has to face the difficult feelings of grief alone.
