Hospitality software specialist Lolly has forged a significant year-long charitable alliance with Kids Inspire, a charity based in Essex dedicated to supporting children, young people, and families impacted by trauma and mental health challenges.
A Partnership Focused on Healing and Support
The 12-month collaboration will concentrate on delivering crucial financial backing, practical hands-on assistance, and amplifying awareness of the escalating mental health difficulties faced by young people and their families across Essex and Suffolk. Lolly's commitment extends beyond mere donation, encompassing staff volunteering initiatives and internal fundraising campaigns.
As a poignant start to this partnership, members of the Lolly team recently visited the Kids Inspire head office to contribute to the charity's Christmas Appeal. They volunteered their time to wrap gifts intended for children and families supported by the organisation.
The Vital Work of Kids Inspire
Kids Inspire has been providing specialist, trauma-informed therapy and mentoring since 2007, offering these services free of charge to families who cannot access private mental health support. Their therapists employ a variety of creative techniques—including art, drama, play, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)—to help children process distressing experiences within a safe and nurturing environment.
The charity's holistic approach also involves offering guidance and training for parents and carers, ensuring that supportive practices continue within the home setting.
Addressing a Growing Need
Rachael Bassett, the fundraising manager at Kids Inspire, highlighted the pressing demand for their services. "The need for our services is growing faster than ever," she stated, "with more children waiting for help than we can currently reach."
She emphasised the importance of the new partnership: "Support from Lolly as one of our charity partners is vital. Their financial backing will help fund more therapy sessions, expand our programmes, and ensure every child has the chance to heal, to trust, and simply to be a child again."
Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, expressed the company's honour in forming the partnership. "We are honoured to partner with Kids Inspire, a charity doing incredible work to improve the mental wellbeing of young people in our community," he said. "Our team is excited to take part in the Christmas Appeal and other fundraising and volunteering activities throughout the year. Together, we hope to raise both awareness and essential funds for this invaluable cause."
