Model Agency Founder Raises £1,200 for Dogs Trust

A model agency founder from Nottinghamshire has raised more than £1,200 for a dog charity following a special photography event. The fundraiser was organised in loving memory of a much-missed pet to help other rescue dogs find their forever homes.

Charity Photography Event

Tina Hague from Angel Wings Model Management brought together 12 models and 12 photographers who all donated their time for the cause. The special charity day took place at a photography studio in Stoke-on-Trent. Money was raised through photographer attendance fees, raffle donations and extra support from the wider community. Models dressed up in the official charity colours for professional portrait sessions throughout the day. The event raised a total of £1,213 for Dogs Trust.

Personal Meaning

For Tina, the fundraiser held a very deep personal meaning. She sadly lost her beloved Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bella, following a short illness last year. Wanting to give another rescue dog a loving home, Tina later adopted a four-month-old puppy named Hansel from a charity rehoming centre. Hansel is now 15 months old and is settling in very well with his new family.

Tina said: “Losing Bella absolutely broke our hearts. She was part of the family, so the house felt empty. After a couple of months, I knew I wanted to adopt again. I truly believe the work Dogs Trust deserves every penny. They give dogs a second chance and bring so much happiness to families like mine.”

Charity Thanks

The charity has thanked Tina and everyone involved for their kindness, creativity and generosity. Tristan Lathey from Dogs Trust said: “It’s always wonderful to see the creative and heartfelt ways our fundraisers support Dogs Trust. Tina’s ongoing efforts have been especially appreciated. She has raised £1,588.67 since last October with her walking challenges and now photography event standing out as a fantastic example of dedication to raising vital funds.”
