Six young friends from Penrhyn Bay have raised £120 for a local children's hospice by running a summer lemonade stand. Scarlett, Millie, Megan, Ruby, Caitlin and Esme spent a warm day making and selling fresh drinks to villagers.
Fundraising Effort
The money raised will support Hope House Tŷ Gobaith hospices in Conwy and Oswestry. The charity cares for more than 750 local children and families living with life-threatening conditions.
Community Support
Scarlett's mum Beccy commented: "The girls had been playing in the park and decided they wanted to help raise money for Tŷ Gobaith. They spread the word on their way to buy the lemons and people in the village were very generous putting in coins and notes for their drink. We're super proud of all the girls, especially as it was a very warm day."
Hope House Tŷ Gobaith expressed its gratitude to the group for their hard work and support.
