Charity organisation Chain of Hope has announced the exciting relaunch of its acclaimed Share Your Heart arts initiative, which is set to return to London's prestigious Saatchi Gallery in February 2026. The project will feature a major exhibition and auction of unique, heart-themed artworks created by a stellar lineup of leading contemporary artists and celebrated public figures.
A Creative Fusion of Art and Compassion
Share Your Heart is a distinctive charitable project that masterfully blends artistic creativity with profound compassion. Its core mission is to generate vital awareness and essential funds to support children who are born with congenital heart disease. Through the remarkable generosity of participating artists and supporters, the initiative has amassed an extraordinary collection of one-of-a-kind artworks. Each piece offers a deeply personal and imaginative interpretation of the heart, symbolising the immense power of human connection and empathy.
A Stunning Exhibition Curated by Maria Sukkar
The centrepiece of the 2026 campaign will be a stunning exhibition curated by the esteemed art patron, Maria Sukkar. The event will officially commence with a special private view on the evening of Tuesday, February 10, at 6:30pm, held at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Following this exclusive opening, the exhibition will be open to the general public from February 11 through to February 15. Art enthusiasts and charitable supporters will have the opportunity to view and bid on more than 60 exceptional artworks via the dedicated project website.
An Impressive Roster of Contributors
The project has secured generous donations from an array of internationally renowned artists. This impressive list includes notable names such as Youssef Nabil, Gordon Cheung, Philip Colbert, Gray Malin, Chris Levine, and Nabil Nahas. They are joined by a host of celebrated public figures who have also contributed works, including acclaimed actors Gillian Anderson, Olivia Colman, and John Lithgow, alongside culinary icon Dame Prue Leith, music stars Donny Osmond and Emma Bunton, and the legendary Shaggy.
Marking a Significant 30-Year Milestone
The Share Your Heart project forms an integral part of Chain of Hope's month-long campaign during Heart Month, which is celebrated internationally every February to raise crucial awareness of congenital heart disease. The 2026 campaign holds particular significance as it marks the 30th anniversary since the charity was founded by the pioneering cardiac surgeon, Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub.
Since its establishment three decades ago, Chain of Hope, operating through its global network of volunteer cardiac professionals, has extended its life-saving reach to children across 43 countries spanning five continents. The charity has enabled more than 5,000 critical cardiac procedures and played a pivotal role in helping to establish five specialist paediatric cardiac centres in nations including Egypt, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and Jamaica.
