Community Car Boot Sale Brings Neighbours Together
The event featured a car boot sale with homemade cakes, sweet treats, food, and personal items, drawing residents together in a show of solidarity. Housing provider Orbit contributed an additional £250 through its charitable funding scheme, boosting the final total to £614 for the national charity.
Breast Cancer Now funds medical research, raises awareness, and provides vital guidance to families affected by the disease across the UK. The donation will support these efforts, which are more critical than ever given the charity's statistics.
