Worcester man to perform double wing walk for Alzheimer's Research UK
Worcester man's daring double wing walk for charity

A Worcester man is set to defy gravity and conquer his fears in an extraordinary double challenge to support a cause close to his heart. Daniel Reeves, aged 42, will perform not one but two wing walks on a single day to generate vital funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Research UK.

A Deeply Personal Mission

Daniel Reeves has dedicated his professional life to care work, supporting numerous residents living with Alzheimer's disease. The cause has since become even more personal, touching his own family directly. Both his father and his father's twin brother have received an Alzheimer's diagnosis, driving Daniel to take dramatic action.

"This is something very close to my heart," Daniel explained. "I've seen first-hand how devastating Alzheimer's can be - not just for the person living with it, but for their families too. I really want to raise money and awareness for everyone affected."

The Heart-Stopping Challenge

On June 5, 2026, Daniel will push himself far beyond his comfort zone. His first-ever wing walk will see him standing on the wing of a plane as it flies through the air. However, he is not stopping there. In a remarkable display of courage, he will immediately undertake a second, even more thrilling feat.

The second wing walk will dramatically raise the stakes, featuring aerobatic manoeuvres including loops, flying upside down, and a nerve-wracking nose dive. Daniel will remain strapped to the wing throughout the entire sequence. "It's the first time I've ever done anything like this," he said. "So being me, I decided to do two in one day."

Supporting the Cause

Daniel is calling on the local community and beyond to rally behind his daring endeavour. Supporters can contribute by donating or sharing his fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues. He is offering personal thank-yous to donors, including a message on Facebook or a letter.

Local businesses are also invited to get involved by having their brand displayed on Daniel's T-shirt during the event. All funds raised will go directly to Alzheimer's Research UK, supporting their crucial work to find a cure for dementia.

"Every donation and every share really does mean a lot," Daniel added. "Thank you so much to everyone who supports me." Anyone wishing to back Daniel's courageous challenge can donate via his JustGiving page.
