Braintree Roadshow to Honor Local Armed Forces Heroes

Braintree is preparing to honor its local heroes with a dedicated event designed to unite the military community. The special roadshow will provide an excellent opportunity for veterans, service personnel, and their families to connect, access vital support, and share their stories with the wider community.

Event Details

Organized by Braintree District Council, the Armed Forces Community Roadshow will take place on Wednesday, July 1, at Causeway House in Braintree. Bringing together various support organizations and charities under one roof, the event aims to ensure that those who have served receive the recognition and advice they deserve right on their doorstep.

Support Available

The event is aimed at both serving and veteran armed forces personnel and their families, providing information on available support for housing, benefits, cost of living, mental health, employment, and health and wellbeing. Families can learn about accessing healthcare, housing, and other support as an armed forces family based locally.
