Record-breaking adventurer Louis Alexander is set to visit Parkfield Grange care home in Stourbridge on Thursday, October 15, to deliver two free talks about his extraordinary endurance challenges and expeditions. The 26-year-old will host sessions titled An Audience with Louis Alexander at 11am and 3pm, welcoming residents, families, and community members to hear about his global adventures.
Marathons across seven continents and seven seas
Mr Alexander is recognised as the only person to have run marathons across all seven continents and completed marathon-distance swims across all seven seas. His achievements are dedicated to his grandfather, who lived with dementia for 17 years. The adventurer is now preparing for his most demanding challenge yet: kayaking seven of the world's most dangerous ocean crossings.
This expedition forms the final part of his Trilogy of the Seven, through which he hopes to raise £1 million for dementia research over the next four years. During the Stourbridge sessions, Mr Alexander will discuss the physical and mental challenges of endurance adventuring and the resilience needed to complete demanding expeditions.
Free sessions at Parkfield Grange
Mr Alexander is a brand ambassador for Cinnamon Care Collection, which operates Parkfield Grange. Both sessions are free and will take place at Parkfield Grange, 31 Hagley Road, Stourbridge, DY8 1QH. Tickets can be booked online via tinyurl.com/3cpmenpn.
The talks offer a rare opportunity for attendees to gain insight into the mindset of an adventurer who has pushed human limits across the globe. With his upcoming kayaking expedition, Mr Alexander continues to inspire through his dedication to endurance and his personal mission to support dementia research.
