Merry Hill shopping centre has launched a two-week programme of free activities for children during the school summer holidays. The Game On festival runs from Monday, July 27 to Sunday, August 9, with events taking place daily from 11am to 3pm in the Central Event Space on the Lower Mall near M&S and Holland & Barrett.
Free Activities for All Ages
The initiative aims to help families keep children entertained without breaking the bank. A spokesman for Merry Hill said: "Here's our exciting timetable for Game On at Merry Hill this summer. Learn from the experts and try out new skills, all for FREE! There's something for everyone to enjoy and that's just the start – from summer savings to even more events around the centre."
Highlights Include Sports and Games
Activities include football challenges with the West Bromwich Albion Foundation and Baggy Bird, cricket skills with Worcestershire Cricket Club, and karate demonstrations with GKR Karate. Other attractions feature acrobatics performances, mini golf and table tennis with Carnival Golf and Games, boxing demos with Team Pumpkin Boxing, a gaming zone with Harvey Norman, and gaming and table tennis with Hollywood Bowl.
