Staff from Allison Homes East Midlands have completed their first volunteering project under a new community initiative, helping to transform the outdoor learning environment at Frisby Church of England Primary School in Leicestershire.
Marketing manager Meg Vincent and sales administrator Millie Welch spent a morning clearing overgrown vegetation around the school's pond area, removing moss from surrounding decking, and carrying out essential gardening and maintenance work to prepare the space for future landscaping.
The effort marked the first activity under 'Allison in Action', a year-long programme in which employees dedicate time each month to supporting local charities, community groups, and schools.
School Chosen for Proximity to New Development
The school was selected because of its close proximity to the housebuilder's Auster Meadows development in Rearsby, where 65 new homes are being built.
