An active walking group is extending a warm invitation to new members to join them on regular treks through the countryside this summer. Hyndburn Ramblers organise frequent walks throughout the year, showcasing the scenic views of Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley, with occasional excursions further afield into Yorkshire, Bowland, and the Lake District.
Weekly Walking Schedule
Walks take place on Wednesdays, covering distances of around seven miles or 10 miles, and on Sundays, with routes measuring roughly 10 miles. This schedule offers a variety of options for walkers of different abilities.
Upcoming Highlights for June and July
In June, highlights include a 10-mile walk around Grimwith Reservoir, a nine-mile trek in Slaidburn, and a 10-mile journey through Gargrave. Moving into July, walkers can look forward to a nine-mile route covering Boulsworth Hill and Wycoller from Trawden, as well as a 10-mile walk in Arnside.
