Katie Price denies paying £140k to free husband from Dubai jail

Katie Price has shared a photo showing off a new ring from husband Lee Andrews as the pair reunite in Dubai following his release from the notorious Al Awir jail.

She reaffirmed her dedication to her partner after reports suggested she had flown out to confront Lee and end their relationship. That appears to be far from her intentions following his release from the notorious Al Awir prison in Dubai - despite stating he has several questions to answer.

She has since returned to the Middle East, where it appears he attempted to win her over with a costly gift. She reshared a photograph of the pair soaking up the sun in Dubai, alongside a post suggesting the couple - who tied the knot just days after their first meeting - were 'wedding goals'.

Katie liked the image and shared it with her Facebook followers, writing across it: 'Mr and Mrs. Love my new ring.'

Lee hit the headlines when it emerged he allegedly used the same ring to propose to his influencer ex Dina Taj as he did when he got down on one knee to Katie, reports the Mirror.

The new ring is the latest in a string of gifts he has splashed out on, having purchased her another ring just weeks after their wedding in January.

Following a turbulent fortnight of speculation about his whereabouts, it emerged Lee had been behind bars. Upon his release from prison last week, his immediate priority was to get in touch with his wife.

A source had said: 'He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn't pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she's not stupid.

'She knows the optics aren't great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it's hard to leave when you're being treated so well.'

Katie returned to the UK without her wedding ring last week following her visit to see Lee in prison, with a source revealing she has no intention of ending the relationship.

She stated that she had been asked to hand over a six-figure sum to secure Lee's release, but had declined to do so. 'The only way Lee will get out of prison is he has to sort himself it out himself. If not, he'll be in prison. I'm not here [in Dubai] to pay anything for anyone. There's nothing I can do. I've got my own life, even though he's part of my life,' she said.

Lee initially maintained he had been arrested and detained following allegations of espionage, though it was subsequently reported to be a private civil matter.

For the first time, Katie also stated she required Lee to address her concerns - warning she would walk away if he failed to do so. 'I need answers, and if I don't like the answers, I'll be gone,' she told the Sun newspaper.

She added: 'I'm 48. I don't need to waste my time. We get along really well and he's so intelligent ... As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I'm really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.'
