Mayor of Broxtowe, Barbara Carr, visited Trail Makers Education at Beeston Youth and Community Centre to observe an innovative intergenerational project. The session brought together care home residents and young families for shared outdoor activities, including storytelling and nature-based play.

The organisation, Trail Makers Education, specialises in inclusive outdoor learning designed to connect people of all ages with the natural environment. Their approach emphasises hands-on play and shared experiences to strengthen community ties across the Broxtowe area, which includes Beeston, Eastwood, Kimberley, and Stapleford.
