Worthy causes in Warrington still have time to secure financial support from a major £10,000 community fund. Schools, charities, and local groups serving Grappenhall Heys are being invited to apply for a share of the money before the fast-approaching deadline.
Funding to Empower Local Communities
The funding pot aims to empower and strengthen the neighbourhood around a new housing development in the area. Local projects have until midnight on Friday, May 22 to submit their applications. Amanda Jones, head of sales at Redrow NW, said: "We’re eager to hear about the fantastic community work happening across Warrington. The Grappenhall Heys Community Fund is open to all not-for-profit groups operating within or supporting the people of Warrington with a share of £10,000 available to back meaningful projects." She added: "Community shapes where people choose to live and we hope this fund will strengthen local connections, empower meaningful projects and create a lasting positive impact in Warrington."
