As families across the West Midlands prepare for Christmas celebrations, police are issuing an urgent appeal for help to trace more than a dozen suspected criminals who remain at large. The force has shared a gallery of its most wanted individuals, urging the public to dial 999 immediately if they are spotted.

Urgent Public Appeal Over Festive Period

West Midlands Police have highlighted 13 individuals from a wider gallery of 93 wanted people, with many new faces added since the start of November. The list includes suspects wanted for serious offences including robbery, serious sexual assault, and possession of an offensive weapon.

The public are warned not to approach some individuals and to contact the emergency services straight away. In many cases, officers have stressed the importance of calling 999, providing specific crime reference numbers for each suspect.

The most recent additions to the wanted list feature a range of alleged crimes. Among them is 19-year-old Ali Mohammed, who was posted as wanted on 5 November for recall to prison. Police say they are "keen to find him".

Community Vigilance Crucial During Festive Season

With the Christmas period seeing increased social activity and travel, police are emphasising the role of community vigilance. The public are asked to be the "eyes and ears" of the force and to report any sightings without delay.

The force's use of a public online gallery, including mugshots, is a key tool in generating leads. The appeal for information remains active throughout the holiday period, with response teams ready to act on any credible sightings.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of these individuals should call 999 immediately in an emergency, or 101 for non-urgent information, quoting the relevant crime reference number.
