Staffordshire Police has issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery at an Aldi supermarket in Cannock. The incident occurred on Saturday, March 28, at the Aldi store located on the Orbital Retail Park in Cannock.

Details of the Incident

The man entered the supermarket at approximately 5:25 pm and proceeded to fill his bag with various items. When confronted by store staff, he claimed to be in possession of a knife and then fled the scene.

Description of the Suspect

The suspect is described as a white male with a moustache, of medium to stocky build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a white t-shirt, a green hooded jacket, and light blue jeans.

Police Appeal

Staffordshire Police have released a CCTV image of the individual and are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward. A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a man stole items from a supermarket in Cannock. The man entered the store on Voyager Drive at around 5.25pm on March 28. After filling a bag with a number of items, he was approached by staff who he then told he was in possession of a knife."

The spokesperson added: "We have conducted inquiries locally and are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the theft. Police are continuing their investigations and are asking for the public's help to identify the man in the image.
