West Midlands Police have launched a public appeal to identify a man following a serious assault on a bus in Birmingham, which left a victim in his 60s with facial injuries. The incident occurred on the number 11 bus as it travelled along Grove Lane in Handsworth at approximately 10.25am on February 8.
Details of the Assault
According to investigating officers, the victim, a man in his late 60s, was punched from behind by another male passenger. The force of the blow broke the victim's glasses, causing a piece of glass to embed into his face. The attack resulted in significant distress and required medical attention for the injuries sustained.

Following extensive CCTV enquiries, West Midlands Police have released an image of a man they believe could assist with the investigation. A spokesperson for the force stated: "We are now asking for the public's help to identify the man in the images as we believe he could help us with our investigation."
