A dramatic police pursuit through the streets of Birmingham has led to two men being charged after a stolen Audi A5 crashed during the high-speed chase.
Kyle Hemmings, 26, and Reece Worton, 28, both from Birmingham, are set to appear before magistrates following the incident that saw the luxury vehicle being driven recklessly through the city.
The Chase Unfolds
According to West Midlands Police, officers spotted the suspected stolen Audi A5 in the Birmingham area and attempted to stop the vehicle. Instead of pulling over, the driver accelerated away, initiating a pursuit that would see the car weaving through city streets at dangerous speeds.
The chase culminated when the Audi eventually crashed, bringing the dramatic incident to an abrupt halt. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported despite the violent nature of the collision.

Both men now face serious charges related to the incident. Hemmings has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and driving while disqualified, while Worton faces charges of aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance.
