A man was left with a fractured skull following a brutal unprovoked attack in the heart of Birmingham city centre, with police now hunting the suspect responsible for the daylight assault.
The shocking incident occurred near Grand Central on Stephenson Street at approximately 3:30 PM on Saturday, February 3rd. According to West Midlands Police, the 30-year-old victim was suddenly punched in the face without warning, causing him to fall violently to the ground.
Serious Injuries Sustained
The force of the impact resulted in the victim striking his head on the pavement, leading to a fractured skull and other significant head injuries. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the injured man was transported to hospital for urgent medical treatment.
