West Midlands Police recorded 13,192 crimes across Birmingham in June, according to newly released street-level data. The figures cover everything from violent and sexual offences to shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
Three wards stood out with more than 450 offences each, led by Ladywood in the heart of the city centre.
Ladywood: The City's Top Crime Hotspot
Ladywood was the most crime-heavy ward in Birmingham in June, with 900 reported offences – comfortably above every other area. Violence and sexual offences made up the largest single category, with 358 incidents.

Soho and Jewellery Quarter saw 472 recorded crimes in June, placing it third among Birmingham's wards. The area had 203 violent and sexual offences, alongside 47 vehicle crimes and 31 public order offences.
