An 18-year-old man from Birmingham has been charged with possession of a knife and a Class B drug following an incident in Erdington.
On August 9, officers from the Sutton Vesey Neighbourhood Team were on patrol when they spotted a man acting suspiciously. The individual fled on foot, prompting a chase that ended on South Road in Erdington.
During the pursuit, officers apprehended the suspect and subsequently recovered a large combat-style knife and a quantity of suspected cannabis.
Arrest and Charges
Ichiro Dushing, from Castle Vale, was arrested at the scene. He has since been charged with possession of a knife in a public place and possession of a Class B drug.
The 18-year-old is scheduled to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court next month.
