A man is set to appear in court after being charged with attempted murder following two separate shooting incidents in Birmingham.
Incidents in Yardley and Northfield
The first shooting occurred on Brook Lane in Yardley on May 14, where a victim sustained a hand injury. The second incident took place on Gorsymead Grove in Northfield at approximately 4:30 PM on May 28, leaving another man with gunshot wounds to his leg. Police confirmed that neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
Suspect Charged
Zion St Juste, 21, of Capcroft Road in Billesley, Birmingham, was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 1. He faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
West Midlands Police stated: "A man is set to appear in court after we charged him in connection with a shooting in Northfield. Zion St Juste, aged 21, from Birmingham, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today for a first hearing. He is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent."
Ongoing Investigation
Police have released a 25-year-old man who was arrested on bail with strict conditions as investigations continue. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
