Police are hunting a killer after a man was fatally stabbed in a Birmingham garden, with the murder scene remaining cordoned off for a second day.

Emergency Response to Fatal Attack

West Midlands Police were called to Olton Boulevard East in Acocks Green at shortly before 2pm on Tuesday, January 13. The call came from colleagues at the West Midlands Ambulance Service, who were first on the scene after receiving reports of a stabbing at 1.48pm.

A significant medical response was dispatched, including one ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor with a Critical Care Paramedic, and the Trust’s Critical Care Car. Despite paramedics administering advanced life support to the critically injured man at the scene, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead in the garden of the property.

Scene Under Guard as Investigation Continues

A police cordon remained in place around a semi-detached home on Wednesday, January 14, as forensic examinations were carried out. A police car was stationed outside the property, which is marked by blue and white tape.

An eyewitness described seeing the victim receive CPR in the garden, stating the man had entered the property from Warwick Road. The victim's family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

Appeal for Information from the Public

West Midlands Police have confirmed that a murder investigation has been launched and that the perpetrator is still at large, with no arrests made so far. Officers are working to establish the full circumstances, speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV from the area.
