Appeal Launched After Shocking Birmingham Street Attack

Police are urgently searching for a man who kicked a woman in the back as she walked along a Birmingham street. The unprovoked assault occurred on Stratford Road in Springfield, leaving the victim shaken.

Details of the Assault

The incident took place on Thursday, November 6, between 7:30 pm and 7:35 pm. The victim, a woman in her thirties, was walking along the road when an unknown person approached and attacked her from behind.

Thankfully, the woman did not sustain serious physical injuries. However, the nature of the random attack has caused significant distress.

CCTV Image Released in Public Appeal

Following initial investigations, West Midlands Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to identify and speak to. Authorities believe this individual could hold vital information that would assist their ongoing inquiry.

In an official statement, police confirmed: "We're appealing for witnesses and help identifying a man after a woman was assaulted in Birmingham. We believe he could have information that could help with our investigation."

No arrests have been made at this time, and police inquiries are continuing. Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the event, has private CCTV or doorbell footage, or any other information to come forward.
