Two young women from Birmingham have been charged by police following a stabbing incident in the Edgbaston area which left a man hospitalised.
Incident on City Road
West Midlands Police were called to City Road, near its junction with Portland Road in Edgbaston, shortly after 12pm on Monday, December 15. Officers attended the scene to find a man in his 20s suffering from stab wounds.
The victim received immediate medical attention and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Authorities have confirmed that his injuries are serious but are not believed to be life-threatening.
Charges and Court Appearance
Following a swift investigation, police arrested two local women in connection with the attack. They have since been charged with wounding and assault.
The accused are Trisharna Gray, aged 19, and Shanae Gray, aged 18. Both individuals list addresses in the Edgbaston area.
Both women were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear before magistrates at Birmingham Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, December 16.

Two women were arrested shortly afterwards and they have now both been charged with wounding and assault."
