West Midlands Police has released a photograph of a man officers want to speak to in connection with an attempted burglary in Stourbridge. The incident happened on Teme Road in the Stourbridge area of Dudley shortly before 7.50pm on 7 August.
According to the force, a man approached the rear gate of a property and attempted to gain entry. Officers have now issued a public appeal to identify the individual captured in the image, which was released by West Midlands Police on 29 August 2026.

In a statement, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this man? We would like to speak to him in connection with an attempted burglary in Stourbridge. A man approached the rear gate of premises and attempted to gain entry. The incident took place on Teme Road, shortly before 7.50pm on 7 August."
The force has urged anyone with information to contact officers by ringing 101 and quoting crime number 20/358935/26. Alternatively, members of the public can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
