West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a break-in at North Solihull Sports Centre in Chelmsley Wood. The break-in occurred on Saturday, July 25, at the sports venue on Conway Road.
The thief entered the building shortly before 8pm and targeted the café, stealing items before leaving. Police are now asking the public to help identify the man pictured in the CCTV footage.
Man sought in connection with burglary
The man is described as white, clean-shaven, with short, shaved brown hair. In the CCTV image, he is wearing a black jacket. Police have not confirmed the exact value of the stolen items.
In a statement, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Do you know who this is? We want to speak with him after a man broke into North Solihull Sports Centre on Conway Road, Chelmsley Wood.”

The spokesperson added: “At around 7.50pm on 25 July a man broke into the sports facility and stole items from the café within the building before leaving.”
The incident has prompted a CCTV appeal, with police urging anyone with information to come forward.
