West Midlands Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after a shop worker was threatened with a crowbar during a robbery in Oldbury, Sandwell, on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at a store on Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, shortly before 6am on Saturday 5 September. The two men entered the shop and threatened a worker with a crowbar before taking a number of items and cash.
According to a spokesperson for the force, the worker was not injured but described the ordeal as "understandably a frightening ordeal".
Police release CCTV images of two suspects
West Midlands Police have now issued images of two men they would like to identify in connection with the robbery. Both men had their hoods up and were wearing coats.
The first man is described as black, wearing a grey hooded top with a black coat over the top. The Nike Air logo is visible on his right front chest. He was also wearing a black backpack. His nose and part of his face are visible, and he was not wearing gloves.
The second man is described as white, wearing a dark green hooded top and what appears to be a navy blue cap. He had a black face mask on and appeared to be wearing gloves. Part of his face is visible in a second image.
Police appeal for public's help
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We're investigating after a shop worker was threatened with a crowbar during a robbery in Sandwell at the weekend.
"Two men entered a store in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, at just before 6am on Saturday (5 September). A number of items and cash were taken."
The spokesperson added: "Thankfully, the worker was not injured, but this was understandably a frightening ordeal. We appreciate these are not clear images but we're hopeful someone will have information to help us find those responsible.
"One of the men is described as white and the other a black man."
