West Midlands Police has released a CCTV image of two young females they want to speak to in connection with the theft of two phones from a shop in Cape Hill, Smethwick. The incident took place at around 12.30pm on Friday, July 17.
Details of the Incident
The shoplifting incident occurred in a shop on Cape Hill in the Warley area of Smethwick. Two phones were taken during the lunchtime theft. Police have issued a CCTV image showing the two suspects and are asking the public to help identify them.
The first suspect is described as black with short black hair, wearing a grey, long-sleeved top. The second appears to be of Asian appearance with short black hair, wearing a jacket with a large lapel over a white top.
Police Appeal
In issuing the appeal, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Recognise these two? We'd like to speak to them about a theft in Smethwick. Two phones were stolen from a shop in Cape Hill at around 12.30pm on Friday 17 July.
