Crowbar Attack Damages 40 Cars in Birmingham Street

A 28-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly using a crowbar to damage more than 40 parked vehicles on a street in Birmingham, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Incident on Moseley Road

Residents on Moseley Road in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, woke up on Friday, June 12, to find their cars vandalised. Witnesses reported seeing a man armed with a crowbar attacking vehicles at around 10am. The suspect targeted a range of cars, including a £40,000 Audi TT and other premium models.

A neighbour who observed the attack said: "It must be more than 29 cars. This man decided to smash all the back windows, front windows from right at the beginning of the road right to the end. He took every car window down. The police caught him at the end, but there was that much damage. Everyone's cars were gone. He used what looked like a tree log to smash all the windows. Everyone's taken their cars off the street, some have been fixed. It's a crazy thing to do."
