East Midlands Woman Injured in Derby 3am Assault

An East Midlands woman has been left with serious injuries after an assault that took place in the early hours of Saturday, June 13. The incident occurred between 3am and 3.30am at the junction of London Road and Nelson Street in Derby, according to police.

A man is reported to have approached the woman and assaulted her, causing significant harm. It is understood that the two individuals are known to each other.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, and her injuries have since been described as not life-changing or life-threatening.
