West Midlands Fire Service crews rushed to a house fire in Birmingham, deploying four fire engines to the scene. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at a two-storey property in the Kings Heath area.

Firefighters arrived quickly after receiving multiple 999 calls reporting flames and smoke coming from the building. Crews from Kings Heath, Billesley, Hay Mills, and Bournbrook stations attended the incident. They used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to bring the fire under control.
Safety Measures
The fire service advised residents to ensure they have working smoke alarms and to check electrical appliances regularly. No injuries were reported, but the property sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
