Police swarmed a Birmingham street this morning after reports of attempted break-ins, leading to the arrest of four teenagers.
West Midlands Police received calls about people trying to break into properties on Grange Road in Kings Heath at around 1:25am on Sunday, 17 May. Officers were quickly dispatched to the scene and detained four boys, aged between 15 and 17, on suspicion of burglary.
The teenagers are currently in custody awaiting questioning. A police spokesperson said: 'We've arrested four teenagers after rapidly responding to reports of people trying to break into properties in Birmingham this morning. Officers were quickly in the area and detained four boys on suspicion of burglary. They're currently in custody for questioning.'
This incident comes as the force continues to tackle burglary in the area. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
