New police statistics have revealed the streets in Hodge Hill with the highest number of reported violence and sexual offences for August 2026. A total of 136 violent and sexual offences were reported to police from the Birmingham area in a single month, according to the latest police.uk statistics from West Midlands Police.
These offences can include everything from common assaults and sexual assaults, to grievous bodily harm (GBH) and rape. The most recent figures to be released on the police data website are for August 2026, showing the number of violence and sexual offences reported in each street.
Rogers Road and Edstone Mews top the list
Across Hodge Hill, four streets held the highest number of these types of crimes. Rogers Road, a residential street off the main Washwood Heath Road, was struck by eight such offences within the month period. One of those remains under investigation, another is awaiting an outcome at court, and in the remaining six crimes, police have been unable to prosecute a suspect.
Meanwhile, police are investigating seven out of seven violence and sexual offences from Edstone Mews, a small cul-de-sac off Dreghorn Road. Church Walk and Stretton Grove also had five or more offences reported for the same month.
