Hunt for Gunman After Shots Fired at Midlands Home

Police are hunting a gunman after shots were fired at a property in the Midlands in what is believed to be a targeted attack. The incident occurred just after midnight on Thursday, June 11, in Barrett Drive, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers arrived at the scene to find two bullet holes inside the house and a smashed window. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Police Investigation

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We're investigating after two shots were fired into an address in Stoke-on-Trent in what we believe is a targeted incident. At 12.05am this morning, we were called to Barrett Drive in Cobridge following a report of a firearm being used."

"Officers went to the scene and found that the window of a house had been smashed. Two bullet holes were found inside the house following a search. No one was injured."

Ongoing Enquiries

A cordon has been put in place as part of the ongoing investigation. Forensic officers are examining the scene, and local officers are conducting house-to-house enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage.

Police believe the suspects may have been travelling in a white car at the time of the incident.
