Police are investigating after an injured man turned up at hospital following reports of an altercation in Bloxwich. The man, aged in his 30s, self-presented to a hospital with injuries after reports of an incident in Harden Road on Tuesday night, April 28.

Officers and forensics were at the scene on Wednesday morning as police try to understand how the man came to be hurt. Locals said there had been loud shouting, with loads of police then attending the scene. The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police confirmed.

Police Appeal for Information

West Midlands Police has since issued an appeal for information or video footage. A spokesperson for the force said: Officers have been at Harden Road, Bloxwich following reports a man was injured there last night (28 April). The man, in his 30s, presented at hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-changing. We are carrying out a range of enquiries as we work to understand how the man came to be hurt.

Ambulance Service Not Called

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said that they were not called to an incident on Harden Road.

One local resident wrote on social media: Just been passed there. Loads off police and forensics now. Someone said there has been an altercation. I live behind and heard loud shouting last night but living in Blakenall you expect it. Hope what ever has happened everyone is ok.
