Man Attacked and Forced into Van in Coventry
A serious incident unfolded on a street in Coventry, leading to a kidnap arrest after a man was violently assaulted and forced into a white van.
West Midlands Police were called to the scene near Meredith Road in the Stoke area of Coventry at approximately 11.30pm on Monday, November 17.
Violent Assault and Abduction
Reports indicated that a man was physically attacked before being bundled into a white Ford Transit van. Following a swift police response, the victim was subsequently located.
The man was found to have sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault and abduction.
Arrest and Ongoing Investigation
Officers moved quickly to make an arrest in connection with the disturbing event.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and taken in for questioning. He has since been released on bail with strict conditions as the investigation continues.
