Man Attacked in Birmingham Street Hospitalized with Head Injury

Police have launched an investigation after a man was attacked on a Birmingham street. The victim, in his 30s, was assaulted on Villa Road in Lozells shortly before 7pm on Tuesday, May 19. He was taken to hospital with a non-serious head injury.

Police Investigation Underway

West Midlands Police confirmed they are investigating the incident. A force spokesperson said: "We're investigating after a man was assaulted in Villa Road, Birmingham, at just before 7pm on May 19. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with a head injury."

Ambulance Response

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called to reports of an assault on Villa Road on Tuesday and sent an ambulance and paramedic officer to the scene. On arrival, crews found a man who they treated for injuries not believed to be serious before conveying him to hospital."
