A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing incident during a disorder in Smethwick, West Midlands Police have confirmed.
Incident Details
Reports of armed violence in Foundry Lane were received at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, May 26. Two men were taken to hospital with stab wounds, and a 21-year-old man remains in a serious condition.
Charges and Bail
One man has been charged with attempted murder. Two other men, both aged 18, have been bailed while police enquiries continue.
Police Appeal
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We know this is concerning for the community, and we've increased our presence in the area to provide reassurance. The investigation remains ongoing, and we'd ask people to send any footage to us, rather than share it online."
