A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Birmingham, West Midlands Police have confirmed.
The incident took place on Sunday, 12 November, in the Bordesley Green area of the city. Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing at around 9:15 PM. A 28-year-old man was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Charged
Following investigations, detectives charged a 25-year-old man with murder. He is scheduled to appear before Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 14 November. The suspect has been remanded in custody pending his court appearance.
Police Appeal for Information
West Midlands Police are continuing their inquiries and have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the force's homicide unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the victim's family at this difficult time. We are determined to bring those responsible to justice and urge anyone who saw anything or has any information to contact us."
