Tributes Paid to Much-Loved Coventry Father

The family of Anthony Priestley have released a heartfelt tribute following his tragic death in Coventry. The 53-year-old father was found with serious injuries at an address on Aldrich Avenue on Tuesday, November 18.

Emergency services attended the scene, but sadly, nothing could be done to save him. Anthony was pronounced dead at the location.

Family's Heartbreaking Words

Through West Midlands Police, his grieving family shared a smiling photograph and a moving tribute to the man they knew as 'Anton'.

In a joint statement, they said: "Anton, we loved you so much and we cannot imagine that we’re never going to see you again. Our love for you will never end."

His daughter also shared her own touching words, saying: "Thanks for all the lovely memories I have of you. Your loving daughter."

Suspect Charged and Remanded

Following the incident, a man was arrested on suspicion of murder. Alexander Neilson, 28, of no fixed address, has now been charged with murder and aggravated burglary in connection with the case.

Neilson was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Coventry Magistrates' Court.
