Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered inside a burning car in Portadown, Co Armagh, on Saturday night. The grim discovery was made in the Harford Street area, prompting a significant emergency response and a subsequent forensic examination.

The fire was reported at approximately 10pm on Saturday, and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. Following the fire, police officers located the man's remains within the vehicle.
