Love Island presenter Maya Jama and Manchester City defender Ruben Dias have been left devastated after their multi-million pound home in Cheshire's exclusive Golden Triangle was burgled. The couple's £4 million mansion in Alderley Edge was targeted while both were away from the property, with thieves making off with valuable personal items.

Property Ransacked While Occupants Were Away

The burglary occurred at the couple's 6,300 square foot residence, which sits in a quiet street within the affluent village of Alderley Edge. Ruben Dias discovered the break-in upon returning home at approximately 11pm after Manchester City's match against Galatasaray, immediately contacting emergency services to report the incident.

At the time of the burglary, Maya Jama was in South Africa filming the latest series of Love Island All Stars, while her partner was competing in a crucial football match. A source close to the couple revealed their distress, stating: "They are devastated. The house is the first they have moved into as a couple and is very special to them."

Officers attended the scene and confirmed that entry had been made to the property and a number of items had been stolen. Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing as police work to identify those responsible.

The source added: "Thankfully, neither was at home, but they are very upset that their personal space has been invaded. They love the house because it is tucked away down a very quiet street with no passing traffic."
